Well Mr. Keyon's Birthday came and went. I've been busy unpacking and getting everything settled along with crafting my latest idea. Here is what we have been up to in pictures. Enjoy!
Keyon opening some bath letters. If you can believe it we have been working with Keyon and he knows all the letters in the alphabet by sight. Pretty amazing! Working on spelling his name and simple words now. He loves its!
Keyon opening a tool set. He loves to work with daddy and have matching tools too!
My first decor project for the house. This is in our dining room and I wanted to display pictures of us. These are all frames I found at Goodwill that I spray painted. Then I used fabric as the matting or background and just mounted the pictures on computer paper and then on the fabric. Pretty neat, cheap, and easy!
Here is just a different view of the area with the other two pictures too.
We have a ton of these boxes either from the smoke and fire restoration company or from the dry cleaning company that cleaned all our smoky clothes. Needless to say I hate to see them all thrown away and storage/organization boxes are just so darn expensive!
We needed some sort of storage underneath for Keyon's movies and such and I didn't want to fork out a bunch of money for cute decor baskets. So I thought of an cheap and easy solution!
I used fabric to cover the boxes and attached them with hot glue. Now I have cute organizing baskets and didn't have to break the bank :-)
Here is a close up of the boxes. All they are is simple cardboard boxes and fabric from Wal-Mart. Nice and neat now!

So crafty! I love seeing creativity in action and even more, I love seeing money being saved (I guess we can thank Dad for our "thrifty-ness"). Looks like things are getting back in order for you, Keyon, and the Bobster. Love and Miss Y'all, Hugs from Boulder.
