Shhhh... Keyon's sleeping. So that means work time for me. I'm crack-a-lackin at the homework and thought I would take a short break to blog. Oh aren't you tickled pink!? :-)
Bob had to go back to work for a few days, but should be home for good after that. I am anxiously looking forward to that!
I weighed myself with one eye closed this morning. I have only been on Atkins "hard core" again since last Wednesday and knew I might not show any weight loss. But I promised myself even before stepping on the scale I was going to continue! Anyway, I did a little dance as I have lost 4 pounds in 5 days. And I haven't even been exercising regularly! FAN-TAS-TIC. I called Bob to share the good news and he claims he won't recognize me when he gets back in 3 days. What a charmer. So I officially weigh 205 as of this morning. Only 5 more big ones until I'm under 200. How great will that be??? I'm actually doing really good and not having headaches or cravings much this time around. I did get some Atkins bars last week to enjoy every now and then. They offer a little variety in my diet and help me enjoy sweets besides my sugar free jello. I even made cookies last night for Bob and didn't have any trouble not eating any or sampling the cookie dough! That was big downfall before, it just looked sooooo gooood. Anyway, he took them all to work so no temptation either.
Since winter is upon us, well cold weather anyway, Bob has taught me how to build a fire so I can when he's gone. Don't laugh, I know the basics of building a fire, I'm not a complete moron. But it was nice to have him show me. He is such a good man he had everything all organized and ready for me to build a fire while he is gone. He's a keeper! All the wood was stacked neatly and in reach and he had kindling (spelling?) and cardboard all ready as well. I was very proud of myself as I made the house all toasty warm this morning :-) Yay me!!
Other than that not a whole lot else new. Just enjoying 'silent' time as Keyon is visiting the sandman. He is talking more and more everyday I swear I hear 2 or 3 new words everyday. He is getting SO big!
