Nothing erks me more than a child who won't make up his mind. Keyon is a classic example of this. This morning he told me he wanted pancakes for breakfast. Well since I am such a great mother, I made him some. He comes in mid-pancake making and informs me he does not want a pancake. More like, "Nooooo, nooo pancake!". What a little stinker!! Well usually a little reverse psychology works so I just said I was going to eat it then and made it sound like I was really going to enjoy it. "Mmm...good mommy wants to eat your pancake. It's going to taste really yummy!". And sure enough, works like a charm! I guess that psychology major is coming in handy after all :-)
Bob is back out in the woods. No luck for a deer this weekend so he's giving it his last hurrah. In Wisconsin the deer season is only 9 days so you have to be on your game if you want a buck.
Keyon and I are heading into town this morning. We like to have him go to daycare at least once a week and usually twice for just a few hours. I have a little bit of homework to wrap up before the holiday and need to pick up a few things at the grocery store. Keyon is usually pretty good if I take him to the store with me, but lately he has been an absolute monster. This past weekend we went to Kmart and oh my goodness was he a brat. I was that lady I always hate being... the one with the screaming and kicking child who eventually just has to remove herself from the building. Before going to Kmart I told him if he was good we could go to McDonald's. He loves the play place they have. Well needless to say we went straight home and he screamed for all 11 miles of it! We made it through the weekend without any bloodshed and yesterday went much better. He's 2 so everyday is an adventure!
I have some Christmas decorations up already and actually wanted to get a Christmas tree on Monday when Bob and I were in Menards. I know I'm crazy. But I love Christmas!! Anyway, Bob said I had to wait til after Thanksgiving at least...You can bet that we'll have one by this weekend. :-)
Well I need to get my butt ready otherwise I'll be going to town in my PJ's. Happy Thanksgiving!
