Oh what a month. I have been boycotting blogging. If you ask me why, I couldn't tell you. It just sounded like a good excuse to say why I haven't posted in a long, long time. I have had PLENTY of funny stories to post about the little guy but just haven't shared them!
I was back in SD this last week and completed my Paramedic training. It feels so great to be done. I had reservations about going back as it had been some time since I had been immersed in the curriculum and feared I wouldn't be able to refresh my memory enough to get everything down for testing. Well I underestimated my skills and did wonderful. I feel like a huge weight is lifted as I finished what I started and did pretty damn well at too! It is always nice to feel smart :-) I have one last test to get my license and am driving 2 hours one way to take it on Wednesday. I am not worried about this one, but just wanted to get it done as soon as possible before my brain is filled with other information!
Summer classes are going really good, just really busy. I always think that summer classes are going to be easier, but in actuality they are usually harder because they are so accelerated. I am staying on task though and should finish out the term quite nicely.
We painted the outside of our house and it is finally done. It looks great. I will have to post some pictures. It looks like a brand new house! It went a lot smoother than I thought it would and pretty quickly too. We have an unlimited list of things we want to remodel and fix-up on the house, so it will never be DONE DONE, but it's nice to see it as it progresses.
Well I need to get some sleep as a little someone will be crawling into bed with me around 5:30-6am. He has started that habit. Not to fond of it, but it could be worse if he didn't fall right back to sleep and was wide awake. Just wish he didn't have to wake me up, could just crawl right in by himself :-)
