Shake your booty

Good morning! Up bright and early this morning. Keyon came pitter-pattering into my room this morning at 6:30. I don't mind when he's up this early as long as he's in a good mood. I could wake up to a smiling and happy child's face any morning. We have had a wonderful past few days with the gorgeous weather. The other day we even filled a little kiddie pool and Keyon ran around naked. He loved it! Oh the days when being free from your diaper was such a special occasion :-)

We should hopefully get the new pool liner in this weekend so we can fill the pool and enjoy the big pool one of these warm days. Keyon finished swimming lessons and another session starts in June. We will probably enroll him again so we can get him swimming on his own. He is very very close to being able to balance himself in the water without hanging on to me or something else. Very exciting! And when I say swimming by himself I mean just floating on his own, not taking a dip without us! So don't be calling social services just yet :-)

We are having a rummage sale next weekend so getting ready for that is an everyday task. So much stuff! Yesterday I had the radio on in the house a few times and was trying to get Keyon to dance. He gets pretty shy and timid when it comes to dancing. He had a huge smile and was laughing at me dancing. Then I turned around and was shaking my booty. He thought that was hilarious! It was so cute. Not sure if he was laughing at my big butt or my sweet dancing skills. Oh well, I will never know! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
