Pitter Patter...

What a glorious weekend. Its always more enjoyable when the weather cooperates and you can finish off the weekend by enjoying a meal outside. Last night Bob made burgers on the grill and we ate out on the deck. Wonderful! My favorite part of spring/summer. Bob is back to work today so just me and the little man. He has been pretty good this morning which is surprising because he has been rearing his terrible 2 year old head the past few weeks. It's been frustrating for both Bob and I as we are often up in arms on what to do. One minute he is happy and laughing, the next he's screaming and crying. Oh the fun of child raising! :-) I must sound like such a complainer on here! I promise that he is a wonderful gift and even the moments I feel like I am about ready to pull my hair out I still love him more than anything. Over all he is a really well behaved kid so we are pretty spoiled. Makes it hard to swallow when he's actually naughty.

Keyon has been sleeping really well in his new bed, but the other night it took 3 trips in his room and a whole hour to get him to stay in his bed at 2am. He was wide awake and didn't seem to be having bad dreams, just wanted to be awake. He was so cute though as every time he got out of bed he closed his door behind him so I always heard him before the pitter patter down the hall. You'd think if he wanted to be sneaky he wouldn't worry about closing his door. Always makes me wonder what's going on in that little head of his.

Well we have to get ready to go. Keyon's off to Daycare for a few hours and I have class. I'm also going to the gym before class as I'm not getting any skinnier with wishful thinking! :-) Have a happy Monday
