Holy Hannah

Not very often do you find yourself dressing your child and trying to pick out which clothes won't matter if you don't get them back. Making sure that his diaper is changed right before he goes, because you know it will be a while before it is changed again. I had to do that today. Heather called. What a sad thing to see a 2 year old not want to go to his mother. It's been a tough evening, and all I can think about is the little guy. I know he is tough and I am sure he is doing fine but I still wish he was here safe and sound. I just don't get some people. The choices they make, the people the associate with, make no difference to them. They will put their children in harms way without even giving it a second thought. Keyon is not my biological child but I love him like he is. How can his own mother not?

Lonely in the house this evening with both my boys gone. The dogs and I have been playing the quiet game, and let me tell you... Oscar is really good at this game. Remi on the other hand makes lots of moans and groans so he lost right from the beginning. :-) Who is worried that I have resorted to playing games with the dogs?? Don't worry I haven't gone crazy just yet...

Hopefully tomorrow will go fast and Keyon comes home Friday as well as Robert. I don't like the house quiet, need a screaming 2 year old to be running around.

Keyon and I started swimming lessons last night and he absolutely loved it. He was a bit apprehensive at first but once he realized it was a big bath tub he could splash all he wanted in it, he was grinning from ear to ear. They also had a little kiddie slide that he giggled with glee as he zoomed down it. The dare devil didn't even make sure I was ready to catch him, just off he goes! Definitely a fearless little guy. We will definitely have to keep an extra eye on him with the pool this summer.

We had our official weigh in today for the Hollywood Fit Club. Close your eyes, I weighed in at... 216. My usual weight I have been at for quite some time so can't upset as I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing either! Well since it has officially begun, I will hopefully find that extra motivation to lose about 30 pounds! We weigh in every 2 weeks, so I will keep you posted on my progress. I did have a really good workout today and felt really good but then went and ate Taco John's this evening. Tisk tisk! Taco John's potato oles are a weakness of mine and I have not eaten at a TJ since I moved here. They don't have them around here and one just opened in the nearby town. So I had to get my fix. I know fast food isn't the best for you, but I crave it every now and then. I will never be able to cut an entire food group out of my diet, so moderation works best!

I slept like crap last night and figured I would be super tired tonight but am wide awake. Ugh. Hopefully a few chapters in my book will make me sleepy. To bed I go...
