We are back! The Jamaican vacation was wonderful. We didn't do a lot, but that was the whole goal of the trip anyway! We spent our days on the beach, taking naps, eating & drinking, and laying in the hammocks. It was a much needed get away. Glad to be back now, but it's always a little hard leaving Paradise. Especially when the weather is so warm there! Luckily we are supposed to see 70's by the end of the week here. Can't wait!!
School is back in full swing as the second half of the semester is beginning. I believe I am done around the 15th of May. As of right now I am planning on taking quite a load this summer for classes, so it won't be much of a break between this semester and when the summer session begins.
Tonight is the first night Keyon is sleeping in his 'big boy bed'. We weren't sure if he would stay in there, but surprisingly he is doing well. He has been calling for us a few times but after going in there and reassuring him it's bed time, I haven't heard a peep. He moves around so much in his sleep that I hope he stays in bed and doesn't end up sleeping on the floor! Oh well, it's only a toddler bed so he his fall is only about 8 inches. He falls farther than that when he trips over his own two feet!
Other than that, not a whole lot new. We have been spending most of our afternoons outside as the weather has really been great. The bathroom is still mid-remodel so that's a bit of a pain, but its coming together slowly but surely. It will be greatly appreciated when it is done! Hope everyone has a great week.
